Barren Lake???

Anybody have a fishing report for Barren???

I have one , but you don't want to hear it. Went this morning try big black jigs and cranks(DD22's) on the ledeges ,but only could get some short fish. I did heard of some bigger fish out there by other. Those others , that I know, are better at it then I am. I **** on the deep water!

Thanks, Gillman. No worries, doesnt look like Im going to get to go anyway. Probably better off since its probably gonna be a circus on the water this weekend and rain is coming in. I mostly wanted to run out my new old boat.

I am down here right now. yesterday fishing was very good, probably my partner and Icought 20 bass. Hybrid fishing was excellent with many fish in the 5-9 pound class right before dusk. I don't know how the fishig is today we didn't go this morning we took the kids tubing early and I'msitting here on the deck watching the crazy's drive around while I drink this cold Miller Lite and figured I would give you what I knew.

I was there yesterday ,fished hard , threw everything in the book , in places they were caught in last Saturday's BFL and darn near 0'ed . Finally caught 3 little scrapers way back in Beaver . Carolina rig,worms ,craws,all kinds of jigs ,drop shot , brush hogs ,deep , shallow ,na da . The highlight of the day I pulled and thought I was hung in some wood , then it felt like pulling up a limb , then the fight was on ! About a 25 lb. flathead ! wow !! Seen several people "noodleing" under ledges ,and in and around logs . Aint no way !! Not me !!
