I remember a thread (year or so back) posting a link to old photos of the Falls area when the water was very low...I believe you could make out the channel all the way to the upper dam. I had it bookmarked but someone erased my marks and my feeble memory cannot recall either. I would like to see those pics again. Ring any bells for anyone??? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Or you can go to Bing maps. Their ariel view is of the river when it is really low. However their bird's eye view (extreme close up) is when the river is completely blowed out!
When I open up the terraserver link I posted above, there is a box on the map image labeled "Imagery". Click on that box and choose the date from the drop-down menu. Or just go to the photo section of this board where I posted the picture. Enjoy
