In warm waters, stripers will build up lactic acid that shuts their muscles down and the water doesn't have enough disovled O2 for them to recover. The condition causes them to sink like a rock and they simply sink to the bottom and die.
I don't like the taste of bass..But on top of that, they are not a put and take fish like Bass. But I do like crappie and walleye so..
