Summer Time Crappie on LC

As I understand it, Lake Cumberland is not noted for crappie fishing, but thinking I may want to give a try during the night time. Have fished with lights in the water a couple of times, Lake Barkley and LC, but nothing. Could have been WRONG time, place, bait, ect. Du....

Any suggestions?

I,m not sure about the Crappie under lights out in the lake but the locals catch them under lights from the dock here.
BTW retired here at Grider Hill
