So much for being a good guy!

Figured I'd get the wife in the mood.......to let me go fishing. Vaccumed the house. Dusted the furniture. Made the beds. Did 3 loads of laundry, all folded and put away. Made coffee so it would be fresh when she got home from work. All going good so far. Decided to hurry up and knock washing the dishes before she got home. Just about done when I dropped a soapy glass in the sink full of other glasses. Thought nothing of it. Went on washing glasses. As I was washing the rim of the next glass, felt a "thud", then the dish water started gettting red. I had knocked a chip out of the rim of one glass and just was smart enough to run the web between my right hand ring and little finger right over it. Pulled my hand out of the sink of red soapy water to see about a 1 inch long, 1/4 in deep gash. Grabed a paper towel and wrapped it up, showered up, and headed for the hospital. Three stitches later, the doctor says the strings he put in to close the gap would have to stay in for 12 days, and that fishing was out of the question cause of the possibility of infection. Great!

Next time, I'm going fishing, taking the butt chewing when I get home, and then doing all the house work to get out of the dog house. This advanced planning and paying dues up front really stinks!
