I don't think I'd worry about an infection from fishing, but even if you are you could use the suggested surgical gloves.
There is a bright side to this. I was running around town doing errands, and had to hit several stores to pick stuff up the wife wanted. At every checkout counter, the pretty young thing operting the register asked me what happened, then got all teary eye when she learned I was doing things for the wife when I cut cut.
I think I might just go buy some more bandages and see how far this can take me.
I told the wife what happened at the stores tonight. I'm glad I got wi-fi and a laptop. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to write this to you all from my van where I'm sleeping tonight.
I think if I get up real early and make breakfast, she might let me shower in the house in the morning. If not, well, I guess the neighbors will have to turn there head when I turn on the lawn sprinkler.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
I had a friend who broke a bone in his left hand. He has never fished with a spinning rod for bass only for bluegill. He has always been a diehard baitcaster man. With a cast on his left hand he went and bought a $350 spinning combo. It was really funny to watch because when he would reel he would rotate his arm at the shoulder because he could not bend his wrist. He used it for about 2 months, then sold it to me for $100 bucks. So if you want to go fishing bad enough you will do anything.
Let me guess you forgot to tell all those young ladies you were doing all those nice thing so you could go fishing. There is a bright side to this.
