Didn't fish on the 10th, but I did fish on the 7th and 8th. Tuesday night was a started out slow but ended up being a really good night. I had a keeper smallmouth as soon as it got dark and then could only manage 2 dinks for the next 3 hours or so. My partner wasn't doing much better. But beginning about 1:30, the big bite turned on for us. Fished one stretch of main lake bank and I had 3 keeper smallies in 5 casts! Two of them were 20-inches.
Went the next night and really struggled. Managed a few short ones, lost a couple of good ones. Had to leave around 3:00 and my partner had two really nice smallies to the boat on the last point we fished in Beaver Creek. Both came off. Very dissappointing after the night before.

Myself & a buddy fished Friday & Saturday night both. We just couldn't get on them. Fished from above Fishing Creek to White Oak Dock & fished very hard using the usual jigs,brush hogs, tubes & even worms & just didn't do any good. I wonder what won the Burnside Tournament these two nights. I'd say the winning sack came from the south end, if I had to guess.
