Going to fish for cats somewhere below Mc Alpine tonight, anybody catchin them lately? If so any info would be appreciated. Was thinking about fishing around the hydro. Also, if they are running 8ft of dam on the lower is it possible to put a boat in across from the lower dam, at what level is the current too strong? Thanks!

I would use the ramp at the ampitheater, it is definetly tricky right now, we did have fun watchin them Fri.

Was down there this morning and I suggest putting in at the lower ramp. As far as the cats go most people were having luck fishing above the hydro let out in the deep holes past the bend. Most catches were on cut skip jack and live shad. Saw 3 boats fish all morning at the hydros and I didn't see them boat a fish(even though they may have while I was not looking) so I suggest moving up closer to the upper let out. Hope this helps!
