    NO cigs

Been 2 months since I had my last cig. I am starting to feel much better and taste things better and I am beginning to breath better, and this is only 2 mths. At 47 I am feeling like 30 ish, aches and pains excluded as that is were and tear, but I spent 3 days the last week of June on the ledges of Ky lake, 105 heat index and did not get as tired and the heat did not bother me as bad, so evidentally smoking does affect your stamina etc. I still have an urge to have one every now and then but that will always be there the rest of my life as any addicit experences, smokers are addicts, I am a smoking addict, but 4 bucks a pack, is a pack of worms or 12 pack of Sterling, lol. 50 dollars a carton are what Marboro's are now, in this economy you have to make some cutbacks in your life and for me smoking and the home phone, have cell and email no need for land line anymore, quitting smoking it's hard but worth it.

Good job, you've got it whipped now, I'm almost two years without a cig. everybody says ex-smokers are the worst. But I still love the way they smell

Congratulations! I know it's not easy. And while of course nobody likes to put on weight, you're better off carrying a few extra pounds than smoking.

    Re: NO cigs

Not putting on weight that much, maybe a little, but I am trying to stay active, the Chantax helps to crub some hunger, Boy there are somes days that I almost break but, I have to quit as I am trying to make a careear move and I need the money the strength and stamina to succed. I can now longer take this State Job bull, it just keeps getting worse, as there is no leadership or common sense, I think sometimes that the BS on my bosses degree's mean "BUTT STUPID". lol lol. But to quit smoking with all this stress from my job, I figure I can do anything I set my mind to now. Thanks for all the support, I do not even know you guys but you all treat me better than my bosses. That is what this board and fishing is all about, no strangers just comrades.
