I don't know too many who have Kevlars around here.

I also have a Kevlar too............Wenonah Boundary Waters that I use in the BWCA and QUETICO.

I've not taken my Kevlar Canoe down there yet, because some of the ripples are REALLY hard to paddle back up, and if I got sideways or somthing in my kevlar, I'd really HATE dinging it up.

As for paddling up...............there are only 2 places that it is tough......AND those are the REALLY long run 1/2 upstream from helms, and the run about 1/2 mile down from the dam........Otherwise, it is not too bad, and I've done it about 1/2 dozen times.......
