That's right on "justlookingn" ! I try an use there level's versus any others for that reason , the central Ky factor . If you are knowledgeable about the elevations on your favorite lakes in relation to where the shore line is , then you will about know what to expect when you get there useing these elevations. Around the lakes I use it comes in handy for knowing :what cover may or may not be in the water, what ramps are useable , and possibly wether the lake may be muddy or not , among other things as well .
