The brother in law got his little 16fter out of the shop so after work we put in at Cox's park and hit up Harrods Creek. We wanted to mostly just check out the boat so we only brought two rods and a small box with mostly jig heads, a pack of grubs, a crankbait, and a zara puppy. I threw the spook awhile with nothing really to show for it but we hit a saugar hole. The bro in law was throwing the crank bait (youll have to figure out what kind but I will tell ya its a real popular one and the most popular color for creeks) and he landed three saugar. One dink and one 18.5" and one 19.5"!! We only fished for about thirty minutes before we had to leave. Saugar season this your for me was dismal at best with no fish of that size but it looks like we found a good hole. Hopefully this weekend we can get some minnows and slip bobbers and mop up. I managed two small crappie about 7" so maybe we can catch some better crappie too for a heck of a fish fry. YUM!
Oh yeah, if any one saw two idiots hit a stump and nearly flip the boat, you can blame my bro in law for not paying attention while I was messing in with the motor! Scary stuff right there!![]()
Why can't you tell us? I thought this was supposed to be a forum to get helpful information, not a place to be selfish...
I will give you a hint. "Raccoon" is a good hint for the maker and and "A&W" is a hint for the color!
Transparent Tenn Shad is a great color we use here in Ohio for Saugeye and the Chartruese Gizzard Shad is also hot...all in the 300 Series.
The TTS color is also great for bass due to the black head making it look like a bug![]()
He didn't want to say........no big DEAL.............hell he TOLD you WHERE he was........
Figure it OUT.
Natural Color crankbait...............I didn't know which EXACT model either, but I had an idea, and had OTHERS that would produce similar results.
Man......loosen up.

There is no problem if he doesn't want to say, but to come on here and act childish, that's a different story. There was no other reason for the post than to play games with evryone.
MANY people give reports but dont give too many details. In fact, I think I tell people more specifics then most!
Do you want me to cast the line for you?!
Good one
I thought this was a forum for information about fishing and the discussion of fishing related topics and activities. It's not necessarily about giving spots or lure choices, it's supposed to be about sharing the awesome time you had on the water with the folks who like to read that kind of thing. As far as I'm concerned, unless you've gotten to know a dude and he's gotten to know you, it's kind of rude to ask him in the open forum exactly what he's throwing when he's nice enough to write about his experience in the first place.
If you don't want to say...then don't say. I dont have a problem with that. I understand. If you read the original post closely, my problem is with the teasing... "we went somewhere...threw something...caught something...you have to guess."
