Just because people get tattoo's, so what?...to each his own...I admit the fat girl in the pic shown on this thread has about as much self respect as a cock roach, not to mention her total lack of respect for the rest of society...but generally speaking a lot of people who sport tattoo's have some decency to them.
Yep,that's why every convict in prison and all the gangbangers have'm.All decent sorts

Not shallow at all,it's the plain truth. Before the latest little fad the only people who had tattoo's were convicts, bikers, and the ocassional sailor/military person.
If you want to emmulate someone decent, you don't copy what murderers, rapists, and theives do.Like Dave Stewart said about his niece, you take a beautiful person and make them look like trash by permanently altering your body, and why? Just to "express" yourself or to get attention?
I guess if the fad was to spay or nueter yourself it would eventually work out.

In my mind what is even sicker, are people who do this abnormal body piercing,I mean what is so wonderful about poking holes through your tongue, nipples, eyelids, genitals, lips,or naval.
I had a Souix Indian that worked for me,he had his nipples pierced, one night during a drunken arguement his girlfriend ripped one out.I had to secretly LMAO at that.

Went to a local grocery store recently and the young man (20's?) who checked me out was very polite and performed his job well. He turned away for a minute and I could see clean through his ear lobes! He had what looked like ceramic rings in his ears to create these holes...I just kinda smiled and thought you just deleted yourself from a few future professions.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me one bit but I really think (like me as a younger man) young adults don't understand that they will be judged on their appearance as they get older and try to jump into the professional work place environment.....if you can hold your own anyway then good for you but some folks have sealed their fate.

Just to set the record straight,I could care less what someone else does to their body, whatever floats their boat. But anybody that thinks you aren't judged by your appearance in this world is sorely mistaken.I'm sorry but I work with recovering alcoholics and addicts regularly and a huge percentage are felons and former criminals, and a huge percentage are covered in tattoo's which leads me to believe that most are not decent people,at least at that point in their life.On the other hand everybody makes mistakes and can change, but it's a hard row to hoe.

I'm just glad that my 26 year old son who is a Computer Engineer for Microsoft,my 19 year old daughter that attends a Community College, and my 10 year old son are all without tattoo's or piercings if you exclude the daughters ear rings.

Tattooing kids that young is just wrong. If it's not illegal, it should be.

Nostrodomus never said the world would end in 2012. He said "not far from the millennial age." Pretty vague. But that's for another Grumpy thread

According to the History Channel the Mayans,Nostradomas, and the Hopi Indians all predict the World as we know it will end on Dec 21,2012
