    Re: Generational Comment

    Guys-
First off, I'm sure those were not real tattoes. Tattoe shops will not touch minors, especially kids. There are some very real looking temp tattoes now days. Secondly, I'm in my late twenties and I don't care for tattoes either. I had many friends that had them done, and now they are not so thrill about them. Yeah you can have them taken off, but at the high financial and physical cost! No offense to those out there that have them, to each their own, just my 2 cents.

Rich, before I posted I looked up the KY Regulations on Tatoos for minors and ANY minor can get a tatoo with the WRITTEN CONSENT of a parent or guardian. I have never been in a tatoo shop so I don't know the actual practice; however, if those were fake, those parents still need to be shot for teaching/allowing a child that young to think that tatooing is an acceptable way of getting attention.

Well..I guess I'm a litte different on the opinion of tattoo's. I kind of like them to some degree and to a certain extent, only IF they are done tastefully. I do not consider any of those neck tattoo's to be tasteful at all...in fact it's down right stupid!! Generally speaking a lot of tattoo's I see are ok with me.

Now let's go ahead and assume the child Grumpy witnessed was sporting a fake or stick on tattoo...This right here in itself is wrong in my opinion...a tattoo is something very personal that should be totally decided upon by the owner of the body. All the parent of the child is doing is adding to the corruption of the world in my opinion. I can see it now: "Yes son, I can't get you a tattoo now because you need to decide on your own after you become an adult as to if you really do want one, but until then go ahead and wear these stick on's and you'll be cool." No...I don't think so...kids and tattoo's do not mix, not even of the stick on variety.

For the record I am tattoo-less, no piercings or anything else to, as they say, "express" myself. But I have several friends who are.

Yeah it burns me when I'm perusing some good porn and the chicks are inked up all over the place. Why ruin a clean canvas?

I doubt they were real but you never know. I've seen babies with their ears pierced and you know they had no say what so ever in it but it's cute so that makes it okay.

I know I used to love breaking open a box of Cracker Jacks as a kid and the tatoos were the suprise inside.

All grown up now and no tats or pierceings for me but it is a different world today.

The only "tat" I have is my smallpox vacinnation scar on my upper left arm. I scarred myself so others now don't have to. Of course, I had no choice in the matter.

Hey, I saw a real skinny chick in a porn flick once who had a tattoo on her stomach, right above her naval. It read "For sex, this side up".

Just think a lot of those walking billboards paid for their tats with our tax dollars. Some tattoo shops will take payment in steaks and other food items bought with welfare money although it is against the law. Doesn't that grind your grits?

I hate those "big crack attacks" that exposes the tat on a butt large enough to have its own zip code. That is just so not right; if I have to look at that crappy mess, Big Mama should have to look at it too, it belongs to her. Did you ever stand in the mall or at Walmart and watch "them big cheeks" come clapping by you? It's enough to make a person go blind.

Aw.......come on Bassin............NOTHING wrong with a little barterin now and then.........Hell, I traded a 6 pack and a crack rock for 5 boxes of gubment cheese, which I then traded to a guy for two lucky craft pointers.........I think I DID GOOD.....I think if I would have thrown in a box of cherry or peach swisher sweets I could have gotten a couple more boxes of gubment cheese.......****.

    Later,
