    any know what these r ??????

    got a bucket of these things from my grandpa they were made for hunting or fishing i was 8 or 9 when he past away and i got them about 4 years ago

    maybe he used them to retreive stuff he dropped out of a tree stand or drag the bottom of the lake for a lost rod.... it looks like a home made treble hook with the hook part cut off but i dunno.... might have had the hooks broke off... he could have used them for snagging and them 3 are just wore out and he put them in a box and figured he might need em for something else one day......

    close really good guess but i think i found out what they r after all this time it was right there in front on me, i got about 500 + in a 5 gallon bucket and they are all the same, they r crowfoot hooks used to catch freshwater mussels in the river they would tie them to a crowfoot bar and drag it and the mussules would snatch on to them, i found some pics that were really close to these i have wondered for the last few years what they was and should of did a little more research but now we all know what a crowsfoot hook looks like thanks
