Need some advice on cherokee lake

Going to be fishing a tournament on cherokee next month and need some help. Don't know much about this lake only been there once and it was night fishing . Our tournament is during the day. any help will be greatly apprecated.

I've fished Cherokee twice, once about this time of year. If you get to the point where you're just trying to fill out a limit, try dropshotting a wacky worm really deep around bridge pilings and deepwater docks.

We seemed to catch our best fish whenever we had big chunk boulders on red clay. Sorry I can't be more help.
