I've been using the Suffix (in the red box) of late. Unless something changes, I won't be going back to P-Line anytime soon.

    Re: mono sugestions

have tried every line out there bass pro excel is good and cheap but does wear out pretty quick but silver thread excalibur is by far the best i have ever used its more abraision resistant stays limp and not much stretch. but unfortunantly this does not come in floursent for night fishing. i have never had a bad spool of it like i have stren trilene suffix i have had whole spools that were bad. nicks in the line right out of the box will never buy them again.

trilene xl is not very abrasion resitant,if you use it in cover you will break off a lot of fish.
i too have been using the bps excel for nite fishin and big game clear for daytime.
the original stren is tuff too.i personally don't use the most expensive lines,i only put about 50yds on top the spool and i respool every few times, depending on how holds up..i have a spool of 15lb pline cxx i believe and it is like a coil spring, but you can use it for an anchor rope....
good use for it since i can't stand it..

ALL other lines pale in comparison to Ande Mono. I'm not sponsored, nor do I work for them, but each time this topic comes up on this board I have always suggested Ande line based on personal experience and the fact that Ande Mono holds more IGFA All-Tackle records than any line, and more fly tippet line-class records than any other line. It's basically the most proven fishing line out there and it's made in the USA. So it's got that going for it, which is nice.
