I have a feeling it will be a wet fall and winter as well.I've slacked off the bow hunting the past couple years because of time restraints and I'm a gun hunter by preference. Being presently unemployed,I think I'll practice up and give it a try again,especially since the deer are thick here and need thinned out more than normal.Been seeing a couple nice bucks in velvet,but I like taking one during rut when they are swelled up.

Sounds like good times fanatic, I am not a big buck hunter myself. It is not that I don't want to kill one, but just don't have a place to manage and grow biggun's. I mostly hunt public land with a longbow and wooden arrows, and usually manage to put a little meat in the freezer. Hope you get a big one and if you need help taking out a few does, send me a pm.
