    Open Question to all ??

I was just wondering what the percentage of boats , on average, that weigh in fish ( in tournaments) on your home lake is ? I guess my home lake would be considered Taylorsville and Ive been watching the results for about six years now and in that period of time the average % for boats weighing in fish is around 25% on an average tournament day.............Bored just wondering..............Jarrod

Re: Open Question to all ??

Aparently I am bored as well but I would think it depended on the tournament. Several years ago, I fished in a club that was points based and had an AOY award to the individual who had the most points at the end of the year. Everyone who had fish weighed in this format. For the past several years, I have fished local opens and have noticed that only the folks weigh if they think they are close to the top spots!
    Just my opinion.

I fish Rough almost exclussively and we usually have about 40 to 50 persent weigh fish and another 20 to 30 percent throw fish in before weigh in. In general we have large numbers of fish caught on any given night.

I think if all the lakes was too make it 15in then they all would show alot less fish weighed in,been at Nolin and seen a slot fish win sometimes or like when a 6lber won at Rough. When i was in NC the rule was 2any size and the rest over 14.I have only fished Taylorsville a few times but think if i put in the time like i have Nolin then i would do better.Terry Adolph
