That is Houston Creek. It can be difficult to float as there are numerous very long, shallow riffles followed by some rather deep (6-8 foot) holes and stretches. Portage is often AND that creek will flash flood in the shallow spots almost immediately if it rains but also go down faster than any others in the area.
