Sounds like you have waited until the last minute to get you assignment done. As a retired Sales and Marketing Guy, not sure this type of schedule will work for you in the real world.

    Good luck with your survey...

What you need to do is use one of the free online survey tools so that people can answer quickly and you can compile the data automatically.

One that I've used before is SurveyMonkey.

    surveymonkey.com

Also, you probably have too many open-ended questions. The multiple choice ones will allow you good data, but you'll have to manually read through the open-ended questions and compile that data yourself.

I agree, I guess I'm getting lazy so a multiple choice preconfigured survey would get more posts.

Boone, actually I have not waited until the last minute for the assignment. I had to wait until I had received an instructor approval on my survey to administer the questionnaire. I have a time period of two weeks to obtain the responses needed. As with any class, there are defined time lines as there are with this one.

I don't know why you've questioned my time management skills as I also in sales and in, "the real world." I am simply completing the assignment as the instructor dictates. This is my last semester in school, and over four years I've maintained a cumulative 3.7 GPA, while WORKING FULL TIME. You may not want to be so quick to assume when making such statements.

As for the survey site, I would use such a site however I'm trying to obtain information from direct segment that Ranger targets, fisherman.

I've found a lot of folks jump to conclusions, way too often. The really bad thing is I know I used to all the time, and even though I am trying no to so much anymore, it is still easy for me to do if I am not careful!!

    Good luck,

    HDF

PS, congrats on completeing the schooling!!!

    Re: Need some help!!

I got tired just reading your survey because it reminded me of the times when I had to write a thesis for my Masters and a dissertation for my Doctorate. OMG, I burned a lot of "midnight oil" and had to sweat through some tight schedules. I used to wonder if college professors were sadists. lol

My husband is presently taking some graduate courses and all his studies are after 7:00 pm. He works 10-hour days, takes care of his home chores, and then has to study until late into the night. I feel so sorry for him I've started carrying his dinner into the office while he is studying. He took 3 tests last night and has already learned that he made perfect scores on all.

I wish I could help with your survey but I don't know much about our boat. All I know is the price, how to drive it, and when it starts and stops.

Congrats on your GPA. My best wishes for your success.

You need to look at that site. It's set up so you create the survey on your own and then send out the link....or post the link here. Then we can go in and fill it out online and the data will be compiled automatically for you in various reports. I really think it would help save you a ton of time.

I work for a marketing agency and we use survey monkey often to do market research.

know1, you can only post 10 questions on a survey on that site unless you PAY MONEY for a professional account. You cannot purchase a one time account, they are monthly, quarterly, and annual. An account would cost $140-200.

I'm not paying another penny over what I already have for this course. I will get the responses I need, just none from here apparently. Posted this on another message board and received 70 some responses in a few days.

Sorry about that and I don't blame you for not paying any more.

I knew there were some limitations, but I didn't realize they were that strict.

LOL, thanks for the info none the less. Sorry if I seemed as though I were on the defense but for a moment there it felt like I was being jumped all over for asking for a little help. I've gotten many responses to my survey so I didn't think anyone here would mind filling it out either.

Just doing what I can with what I have been presented with.

    Drew.
