just so there is no confusion, the reason you need a heavy line in the am with the buzz is because you need to throw it in areas that have weed beds sticking out of the water. if you hang it up instead of moving in and scaring fish, you will need some strengh to pull it loose from the dead twigs.

fished sunday and tried the dead bushes and only caught short fish. managed to catch two keepers on deep walls. We got third with 8 lbs. Big fish was 5.66lbs. Not a bad day, but first place had 6 fish that weighed 18 lbs. They had some nice quality bass. we caught fish on everything we threw, just no numbers of 15 inchers. most were 13-14 in.

Went up the river yesterday monring and had to hide down in the boat to put on our bait, they were jumping in the boat. Try the old Buzz and got two misses. My little buddy throw a crank and it was on, and I try the old lizard and they started eating it too. These fish were right on the bank on the lizard running out to 10 to 12 ft. . We try a rocky point leaving the area going out toward the clannel, and the fish were there too on the crank and plastic.We didn't keep up with them, a lot of short fish, 5 or 6 two lb. range, and i'll thinking four 3 to 4 lbs.. We also had two break off and some good fish to get off. Slowed way down after about 9:30 and then stop for us around 10:30. Try some rock walls and we did pick up two fish around 2 lds. each before we pulled out at 1:00.
