    I'm so confused???
I'm not sure where the first part of the funding came from but I heard today the second part was being taken out of one of the energy bills that is proposed.

It is really just a stimlus, I think Geo broke it down in a post somewhere and said he thought it was a good plan (surprised me to hear that)

I guess if you were in the market or on the fringe because of price this just made it easier and don't forget to count the money people will be saving on fuel. It was reported today that 80 some percent of vehichles bought using the program got 25 mpg or better.

And before you say "the goverment is forcing these toy cars down our throats" just remember no one forced anyone to buy anything.

Noone forced the losers who went into bad mortgage deals either. If I'm not mistaken alot of those deals were to good to pass up as well. Yep, I am negative beyond any reason when it comes to gubment handouts.

I was refering to the actual cars that have been purchased and are on the road, you know the sissy/toy cars that the rules encouraged people to buy. It was just a reply to something mhall said in another post.

But yeah people should live within their means.
