I would be willing to bet that Hillary was deeply involved with it all. Probably something along the lines of Bill saying "deal with me and let them go, or Hillary will come and stay in N Korea until you do..." Yep, that got the miget thinking

I would also be interested in knowing all the went down. My guess is that a lot of it was a political ploy by Kim Jo Ill (or however you spell his name) to look good in front of the N Korean people.

I don't think Hillary had a thing to do with it, and frankly, neither did Bill Clinton's skill as a diplomat, IMHO. The N. Koreans specified ahead of time that the two young ladies would be released if a "high-level emissary" were to travel to N. Korea. It was all pre-arranged; all he had to do was go there and not screw things up.

I find it funny that the obamy administration imposed restrictions on Clinton but when Senator obamy went to Europe he talked and acted like the President....hmmm seems like a double standard. Heck why would anyone be surprised by that?

Not a double standard at all. We don't have diplomatic relations with North Korea. They're a communist dictatorship that has threatened war against us more than once. Sending the former President as an official representative would be a huge diplomatic blunder. I think I remember the incident you're talking about, and Obama may have been out of line in Europe, but that's one line he didn't cross. He wasn't over there hanging out with dictators who have recently been test-firing missiles in our direction.

I don't recall offering this info. as philosophy, or the discussion of anything else but the happy ending of having these two young women released. I have read a Bible and I don't recall it advocating traveling to a foreign country and breaking the law! What chapter and verse was that in again?

Yes,I've read the bible from cover to cover at least 3 times,never saw the part where it said Ol' Bill should cheat on Hillary with his interns or take a hit and not inhale though.
I'd say if you want to reference a religous book and the Obama administration,you would be better off using the Koran/Qu'ran.
