Gun Shop under fire over Obama sign

If I took the sign differently than you did this would be a non story. Nobody has answered why he did not rearange the letters and mean what he really intended. I have already told my opinion I would like to know yours.

At what point do you stop? He did nothing wrong plain and simple. If we are getting to get to the point of reading a mans mind on what you thought he intended or what he might have thought or what his inner soul feels then we are doomed.
Let be factual here. J. Wright, Al Farakan, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton can get on t.v. or have major meetings condemming white people and jews and thats ok. and obama can joke about not knowing if Bill Clinton is a brother or not since he hasn't seen him dance. (wonder what he meant by that?) Anyway, my point is that this stuff is fine right?

Now a man gets the 3rd degree for putting up a sign that spoofs obama. Who is getting uptight here?

My opinion is the guy put the letters where he wanted them...period. You choose to see racism where it hasn't been stated, implied at best but thats not a crime....is it?

If you seriously believe that this guy wasn't making a play on a racial slur, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you, cheap. But that doesn't change his First Amendment right to say whatever he wants, and whoever changed his sign committed vandalism, plain and simple. If you don't like what his sign says, don't patronize his store.

The part that really amazes me is this: “These days when someone can’t win an argument, they brand someone to deflect the argument,” said Roach. “Only a racist person would find that [sign] racist.” Do you see what he does there? He complains that people who can't win an argument are branding him as racist, and then his response is to label those people as racist. Nice turnaround there.
