Garmin 160C

I recently bought one of these for the front of my boat and it works well 90%
of the time......the rest of the time the screen seems to flicker and fade.
Was wondering if this was the nature of the thing or if maybe i got a bad unit.

I have a 250C and they are good in low light. Get in some bright light and no matter how you try to adjust them you just cannot see the screen clearly. Maybe someone on here will have a solution.

Maybe thats what it is.....not sure what light conditions it was acting up in....thanks

Mine was acting up like that and it turned out to be a loose ground.
