"Disturbing these town halls"? That's a joke right?

Some threads ago excerpts of the bill were posted, and many of us said it was scary. After asking opinions from your side of the aisle, what do we get? A decent opinion from Andrew, and instead of defending any point you call people chicken, and take a few swipes at other poster's opinions.

No, I'm not going to read 1100 pages of drivel, but then again I haven't been elected to do so. Hell, the President hasn't read it, and people like yourself supporting it haven't read it. Yet you have the gall to scoff at those of us who resist an unread bill. Get real.

Did you happen to notice our government signing into law a mostly unread bill authorizing the expenditure of 800+ billion dollars without allowing any debate whatsoever? Have you seen any of the promised "shovel ready" projects underway? Noticed chunks of supposed stimulus money being pissed away and misapplied like the government always does? Did you happen to notice the current administration tripling the national debt in their first 6 months?

I haven't seen any of the twitchy woman's nazis at the meetings, just angry Americans who're tired of the people in power right now recklessly shoving bills through without them even being read.

    Disturbances? Indeed.

Liberals ride around on their intellectual high horses insinuating or just downright accusing anyone who resists their ideology of being backward and ignorant. You disagree, you're a fascist nazi hate monger, or worse yet a racist. In fact, committed liberals are the most vicious people to be found and we need a heck of a lot more 'disturbances' to get them out of power. Folks, when the tax increases for their socialist moves come due we're gonna have plenty of disturbance.

BTW, 'cork I don't think you really believe half of what you post, just enjoy stirring the pot. Either that, or slippedcork is in reality a pseudonym created by the evil Pontooner. Jeez, it's vast left wing conspiracy.

Bottom line to me is how are the native american indians treated and who covers their healthcare? How are the veterans treated? How are the VA hospitals doing? How about medicare? Medicaid? Gubment housing? Unemployment bennies? Welfare? Social Security? How about gubment funded healthcare states like Mass.? How well did the bailout do? How well is this cash for clunkers program doing? How is the battle over illegals doing? How is the war doing?

Lets fix a few of these first and even get a few of them running properly before we trust these dimwits with another major part of our life. The gubment is not the answer folks. They booger up and corrupt everything they try and fix.

Also well stated. A shot to the middle of the bull ring.

    Re: Town Hall Meetings

I just read thru some of the nutz and bolts of the bill, and as stated on another website I came to a couple of conclusions:

One, the "commissioner" has lots of specifying to do and determinations to make.
Two, I'll need to read it 8 more times before getting in the ballpark of grasping it.
Three, no way the politicians voting on this fully grasp what they are actually voting on.

Here's one for you. BHO said that during his college years he chose his friends carefully including marxist pofessors. I heard a reporter on a news show say that the new "N" word is "socialist".

The man's entire life has been shaped and nurtered by controversial people. Many of which don't even like the United States but choose to live here because it's better than their homeland or alternative country. Even the liberal media,,, such figures as Keith Obermien what an Assclown, can't hide nor deny his affliations with VERY SEEDY Characters and I'm being kind with my descriptions.

But now he loves everybody and everything about this country and wants to SAVE us all especially us poor CLOSED MINDED right wingers whom are clinging to our guns and religion.

Wow I'm catching a lot of heat around here lately. First DJD said he thought I was a internet snitch and now I've created a pseudonym to stir the pot. Slippedcork has a way with words that I don't possess .

I've seen a few of these disturbances at the town hall mettings and they are going overboard. I like a good debate just as much as the other guy but if someone came here and posted a point of view you didn't agree with in the same manner (brash, hateful, rude, yelling...............) as the people causing the disturbances they would upset most on here and would be banned if I had to guess.

People are just tired of not having a voice with these so called Representatives and gubment. Sure the people are getting hot but this is important to us all. It doesn't help the situation when our so called leaders call people nazi's and repub plants. These people should act like leaders and understand that we have had it with all the lies and deceit.
