Not sure if they are still there, it has been a while since I have stayed there, but check out (I think the name is...) Parkview Cabins. They are right out sided Lake Barkley State Park. They are nice clean cabins. Last time I was there they were perfect, little kitchenette, TV, and NO PHONE!!!!

Barkley Lodge is nearby at a reasonable rate,and they also give a military discount .
