fished it yesterday from 10:00 to 4:00

I caught 4...my jerk of a friend caught 14. Using the same rod, reel, and bait. Unfortunately it must be all about the guy holding the rod.

We caught most of them right off the edges of dark grassy spots reeling through open shallow stuff in 4-10 ft of water. With 2/0 hook and a wtrmln/blk tiki stick worm. I was using wtrmln/blk/red gary yamamoto stik worm. I know people thought we were crazy fishing 100yrds from the bank, but it's where the fish were staging. We fished structure and shade and didn't have much luck...it seemed like they were out in the middle of nowhere.

Heck, man when you can catch them off shore you are doing it right! You will prolly have company if you are seen there too often.

The third guy was more like having a prissy girl in the boat...we had to teach him how to hold a fishing pole like a man and thank goodness he didn't catch any fish because I could only imagine the high pitched screams that would fill the air as he held out his fine trophy catch saying "get it off, please get it off, don't let it touch me....eeeooouuuu."

So thankful he just read books and tossed the real fishermen drinks and snacks.
