I was forwarded this email by a friend, just wanted to know if any on this board knows if this is one of those real picture/ fake story type things... or if this is factual and know of any other info on the matter...

A 97 lb Eastern Diamondback was found yesterday in Bourbon County , KY slithering down the Clintonville Rdwith Beckie Hatton in hot pursuit. When she caught up with it and realized thesize, she quickly called in the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Dept. The Chief said it the largest rattlesnake ever captured in KY. Thanks Beckie. You probablymade everyone's 4th of July much safer

97 lb rattlesnake found in just northeast of Lexington
9 feet, 1 inch - 97 lbs. - Biggest rattler found since Bob Eads captured one in 1969 that measured 9 feet, 1 inch but only weighed 78 lbs.
This old guy was found inside a open water tanknear an abandoned chicken house
