I agree with ya Geo. When that story broke I was all over the net to see the extent of the claims and support for the claims of abuse. I agree I've never found anything as graphic as alledged by your bud. And.......man I hateeeeee saying this........I thank you for almost kicking his butt. Yep our kids in camo sometimes do things wrong, but far more often they do what's right and are doing things voluntarily and with a positive oulook that most would never consider doing for their country. I too get red fast when those gallant kids get bad mouthed unless clear and conclusive evidence in support is provided. And I agree, anyone comparing any US soldier of any branch to a NAZI needs to be called on the carpet and asked to put up or shut up.
