I think she should give back to the community at the very least. I remember when I was a senior in High School we had a young man come to talk to our entire school. He was in an accident that took the life of another young man. He showed pictures that were very graffic and got the attention that drinking and driving should get. I don't know what kind of punishment he got, or if he was even responsible, but I do remember him pleading with us not to drink and drive.

My brother witnessed a murder in FLA. at a campground. The two men stabbed a guy to death with a screw driver and then stole his motor home and dumped his body in another state. My brother had to go and testify against these guys. After the trial the prosecutor told him that these two scum bags would be out in 7 yrs with good behavior.

The system does need some stronger punishment in the right places.
