Whew! No matter the irony I'm very happy for you that things didn't go more wrong. It also shows what experience can do for you....us middle aged folks understand the basics of driving and checking your mirrors often is one of the best habits to have!

When my girl was a toddler I had such a fear about backing into her or her friends or even their toys that I still check for toys or kids when backing up....

Just curious, was the young man wearing what looked to be either short britches or long shorts, either of which he had trouble keeping them up where they belong? Seems to me the one's who fit this description are the one's with no common sense. Glad no one was hurt and hopefully the young guy learned a lesson.

Not sure...........he was oblivious to the fact the he JUST about DIED........
