    Re: Life Lock

I've done a little research on it, and from every thing I can tell it is a pretty good service. I don't know anyone who has it, but would like to know what they think of it if they do. I have considered it - but want to talk to someone with first hand experience. It is pretty much another form of insurance - you may never need it, but I bet you will be grateful if you have it and need it. With identity fraud and theft continuing to rise, I bet more people will start turning to services like this for protection.

I think you can do what they do on your own and not have to pay. I read a blurb about it a while back but don't remember the specifics.

Yeah I heard Clark Howard say no to this service but I am concerned with all I.D. thefts and minimal punishment going on.

Clark Howard says Life Lock is a good service, but you're better off with a credit freeze

If an identidy is indeed stolen every 3 seconds within 3 years everyone will have had they're identidy stolen.

There's lies, **** lies, and then there are statistics.

But of course with that said my identidy will be stolen later today. All I ask is that they take my obsessive-compulsiveness too. Maybe pay a bill while they're at it.
