Fished sat. Night for 4 hours--no fish at all---got up sun. Morning went to the mouth of brier creek. It was slow at first then largemouth started chasing baitfish to the top. Scattered but when you could get close enough to them they would hit a top water popper. Caught 2 15 inch and one 17 inch. Then my partner caught one and while trying to get the hooks out the bass flopped and drove one of the treble hooks all the way through his finger. Ouch ! Had to go back to camp to get it out. Well that ended that days fishing. Watch those hooks they can mess up a good days fishing ! Jc
