Bluegrass Pit is off Boonville-NewHarmony Road. Take I-164 North out of Evansville and look for the Boonville-NewHarmony Road Exit. turn Right and Go East on Boonville NewHarmony Road. Go about 2/10 to 5/10th of a mile East and look for the lake on your Left. The Parking lot entrance is on your left. The Lake on the North Side of the Road is Bluegrass Pit. The lake on the South Side is Loon Pit. The parking lot entrance to loon pit is on your right side. When you go pass the natural gas pumping station you will be getting close to the parking lot entrance.

Note: the ramps have algae growing on the concrete and can be slippery.

I hope that the muskee are eating a lot of those gizzard shad.

I have not fished either of these pits this year but use to fish them a lot.
