Thank you all very much. I will send a receipt and a copy of your ticket I will need your name telephone and email.
Thanks! Cole Fisher
Sounds good, but there are two things I always ask before I enter any raffles:
1) Who is it benefiting?
2) How many chances are being sold?
Right now we have about 40 raffles sold... We are hoping to sell atleast 100 and we have a couple big events coming up that we hope to sell the majority of them at...
Thankfully Bud N Marys is just giving us the trip to help us raise money for our club and national championships next year... I went to a national championship in Texas this year and probably spent $300 in gas alone not including food/entertainment just to have an awesome experience it was very worth it and can't wait to go again next year but this is all out of our pockets UofL does nothing for us so sponsorships and fund raisers are our only source of reimbursement... Florida Keys Fishing Tours and Bud N Marys is benefiting from the advertisement we are giving them and we are trying to get as many people familiar with their companies as much as possible...
We have a folder we have put together for indivduals wishing to purchase tickets that we could send you through email if that would help you out?
Any other questions about anything guys feel free to let me know... It is awesome to see some people showing interest we need all the help we could get for next year!!! Thank you very much!!!
One thing to add there RoadToad - these guys do far more than just fish
They do charity work with kids and for kids - they run the kids fishing pond at Bass Pro during the Spring Classic, they've helped at the fishing pond at the Louisville Boat Show....between those two events alone there's enough hooks in their fingers than they care for, but it's all part of it.
Their fishing on the college level is their reward for the hard work - for which the school provides nothing. The guys that work the hardest are the ones that get to go and is something that is well earned.
I just wanted to let everyone know that myself and a couple of the other guys on the team will be in Brandenburg Kentucky this weekend at the Hunting the Beast Expo and we will have a booth set up selling t-shirts and raffles for the trip... We will also have some American Rodsmith rods we will be marking down to get rid of... Hope to see some of you out there...
