Try up Calamase creek, lot of standing timber, also look first try around all ramps as there are a lot of tourneys on that lake and a lot of release fish to be caught, hey in a tourney a fish is a fish in the livewell. Crankbaits, like bandits 200/300 and shad raps produce good around the dam area, Also Van buren ramp is good area. They like jigs and shakey heads on that lake also. Good luck and congrats to your dad for his fantsy win and I grew up around the Short won won the boat, I am from Tompkinsville organnaly.
