I have a Garmin Fishfinder 160 and it is reading the depth wrong but reads the water temp right. I have replaced the transducer with a brand new one and it still does the same thing. It reads 800 to 1000 feet deep. The transducer is mounted on the transom. Any suggestions will be helpful.
