Re: What is the best Plug-Knocker you have made?

The one I made was with a metal pipe, about 1.5 inch diameter. I cut the pipe about 6 inches long, filled it with concrete with 3 chains set in the concrete coming out one end of the pipe. It attachs to the fishing line with a swivel, also set in the concrete and coming out the same end as the chains. Coming out of the other end I have a thick line tie (also set in concrete) and this attachs to my marker buoy line. So it kind of serves two purposes. Works wonders on retrieving crankbaits. I just impressed a buddy the other day when I saved his favorite Norman Tennessee shad.

3 oz sinker, big snap swivel and another 3 oz sinker. 200 lb bowfishing line on an old baitcaster and stubby reel seat.
