    New Boat!!

Ok so im not really a jonboatfisher now so my name on here is not right so anyway this is because i sold my aluminum boat and 2 days later i got a 1991 17 foot cajun bass boat with a 1991 mercury 70hp outboard. It is awesome i love it and cant wait to take it out fishin'. I took it to herringhton yesterday and ran it and it ran about 40 mph with 3 adults so not bad i think. Anyway thats my new boat.

my first bass boat was a Cajun 18ft with a 140 Johnson, and I felt the same way you do now, caught more fish out of that boat (MAN) the guys in our club said it was a lucky boat! and I think they were wright! hope yours is as good for you as that Cajun was for me. I bought a Ranger new in 93 a 391v she IS my baby! but I still think of that Cajun, good luck

Congrats! I fished out of a few and they have some nice features. I know they had one of the most amazing looking transoms with aluminum and composite fused together....strong stuff.

I hear ya brother. Been a fisherman my whole life but not owned a boat of my own until this summer and I live less then a minute from Beaver Creek Boat Ramp on Barren. My buddys dad sold me his original owner 84 Bass Tracker with 50hp merc for $1000 bucks and it works flawlessly. I've gone every weekend since and some during the week. Without a doubt the best money Ive ever spend in my life. Only thing Ive done was repaint the faded console, steering wheel, and lids. Everyone says it looks like a different boat.
