You should be fine. As long at the water is coming out of the sluice gate at 2000 cfs you should have no problems. You may not make it too far down the river because of shallow spots at that rate, but I looked yesterday and the river was flowing at 3000cfs plus so at that rate you could go anywhere you want to go.
