Man today about 4pm in Lexington at Old Frankfort and New Circle I witnessed one of these that stayed for 15-20 minutes. It had grass chunks from a recent mowing at least 100 feet in the air which enabled us to watch this thing move around. It was the most amazing dust devil I have ever seen.

We would get them in Texas at Ft Hood but they were small compared to this monster. When it finally stopped we watched grass falling like snow all around the area...pretty cool!
