Access to Blue River?

I am looking for a location to launch a two man boat into Blue River. I have found one site that is in Leavenworth by an old Iron bridge. Does anyone know of one that is closer to the mouth of the Ohio? I don't mind paying a parking fee if there is one. Thanks for the info.

Don't use that ramp by the old IRON bridge.........lotsa problems there.

You can use the ramp on the Ohio River and troll or motor up the Blue......I've done that a TON of times.

Go to the primitive camp ground there is a ramp there.

There's a nice boat ramp in Old Leavenworth that is next to Blue River. Plenty of parking and it's free.

I've launched my 14' Jon at the Iron Bridge ramp and it was tricky but if you're going to carry your 2-man boat down to the water you should be ok.

agreed. haven't been up there in a LONG while. hows the fishin been up there this year?
