    Jig Line

What kind of line do you all like to use on a jig?

For jigs/plastics, I've been using Stren Blue Flourescent Fluorocarbon, it's a great casting fluoro. I like gamma copoly but their fluoro is way too expensive. The Stren Magnathin is a good sensitive mono and strong too. I might be switching over to all Stren before long.

I can't say I've tried them all but I've tried several for fishing jigs... Day in day out Trilene Big Game is hard to beat. And it won't break the bank.

i like P-Line CX Premium and P-Line Flouroclear. I have been very happy with both. Very good sensitvity, strengh, and abrasion resistance. I personally like using the moss green in the CX. The memory is not bad, usually after a couple of casts its right back where it needs to be.

Definitely fluorocarbon. Vary your jig weights to relate with the size of the line you are using.

I would stay away from P-Line...there are much better flouros out there IMO. Berkley 100% and even BPS are better all around lines.

Never tried any of these, would love to, but the price is what sells me on P-Line. I guess just like everything, you get what you pay for.

Pline floro clear for fishing jigs on ledges and deep etc, it is a great all around line, Pline cxx premium or braid for flipping. Pline has never let me down.

True...didn't mean to knock you...i have bought it when $$$ was an issue. The Berkley is REALLY expensive...I usually go in between and go with BPS. Not saying it will let you down, but it has a lot of memory (hard to cast) especially on lines higher than 15 lb. test.
