I just don't get how you guys defended Bush and his cronies for the exact same - even more intrusive violation of privacy, and run Obama through the ringer for it.
Slipped keeps playing the victim...kinda like allot of die hard libs do. Seems to work I guess.... At what point does Bush not get compared to the latest liar?

Will obamy ever have to stand on his own without the crutch of Bush? Will it ever be? The excuses of well what about Bush is getting old and lame.

I wasn't comparing Obama to Bush at all - or I didn't mean to. My point was that when Bush did the exact same thing - conservatives said it was in the interest of national security. However, Obama is a communist playing the big brother role. Just don't see how you give one of your own a free pass - but when someone from the other side does the same thing - they are heavily criticized.

I would never compare Obama to Bush. Obama has already worked more in 8 months than Bush did in 8 years. I don't agree with everything he has done - but most of it I am impressed with.

You have got to be kidding. Obama worked this past 8 months? Whats has he actually done that has impressed you?
When the "Patriot Act" was passed Libs everywhere were throwing a hissy fit about thier rights were being violated and that Bush was basicly "the devil". But now when Obama wants do this they say its great, better than sliced bread. And when someone questions this they want to compare this to the Patriot Act in its defense. Thats just hillarious.

I never once said I agreed with Obama on this issue - I don't. I didn't agree with the patriot act either.

I can list many great things he has done from environmental issues, educational issues, health care issues (especially the push for standardized health records), push for bi-partison healthcare reform (if you don't think this is needed - get your head out of the dirt or away from fox news), lifted restrictions on stem-cell research, international relations have tremendously improved, re-focus our war on terrorist- not Iraq, encouraged others to take a stand to militants/terroists (pakistan), restrictions on lobbyist, economy is showing signs of an upswing, housing prices have risen for the past three months (first time in 3 years).

This is all in an 8 month period without any substantial time for significant progress. This is far better. Maybe you just don't like a president that actually works. By this time in the last administrations tenure - the president had already take close to 40 vacation days.

First off I never said you agreed or disagreed with anything. Point being that libs have a different opinion about what is "acceptable" depending on who is in power.
Secondly I don't recall ever saying healthcare reform wasn't needed. I have said that the current healthcare legislation is not the answer. Its a joke.
Thirdly OBAMA has not done anything to focus on terrorist. I don't believe his administration even refers to them as terrorist. It might hurt terrorists feelings.
Hasn't had enough time for significant progress? Lets see by comparison in a few days it will be 9/11 and yet when Bush was in office and this tragic event occurred the libs were saying it was all his fault. Never heard them say he hadn't been in office long enough to prevent this from happening.
Internantional relations have improved with who? Since his apology tour I am sure there are plenty of other countries that just can't wait to have a president of the U.S.A to come kiss thier behinds.
As for vacation days... Is that how you spend your time counting vacation days of former presidents? What's Obama's count up to?
Also I would much rather have my head in the dirt than up my ---.
Wow!! I didn't realize there was another news source. Thanks for the update. If I actually see another channel that will actually say something objective about Obama I might consider them.

A push for bi partisan health care reform? I can't believe you actually typed that. Whose head is in the dirt here? Mr. Obama's health care bill came straight from pro government far left Democrats, just like most everything else he's brought to the table.

The President has more than broken his bi partisan campaign promise, he's stomped it in the aforementioned dirt. The stimulus bill was passed without even giving the Republicans or anyone else a chance to READ it, let alone have any input. Same with the health care bill. The President by his own admission hadn't even read the health care bill when he hit the stump trying to ram it through Congress. Guess you can write off that transparency campaign promise as well.

Evironmental issues? Other than appoint an ultra left extremist as Green Jobs Czar, what's he done?

Educational issues and stem cell research I'll give you a pass due my ignorance of his efforts there.

Improved international relations? Please. Apparently you've confused apologized with improved.

Restrictions on lobbyists have been limited to lip service, no true restrictions. They're operating as usual in DC at this very minute.

Mr. Bush stopped Iraqi state sponsored terror, dealt terrorists a critical blow, and we had no more 9/11's. Mr. Obama has our soldiers deployed in Afghanistan with a similar goal. Difference is he gets support from the left for his war instead of the hate Mr. Bush got for Iraq.

The economy would've improved as much or more by now without the government borrowing 800+ billion from China to get into the banking, insurance, and automotive businesses. Cash for clunker cars/appliances are warmed over rebate programs very similar to those in the Carter administration. Basically they make it easy for consumers to get themselves into more debt.

No Col, you don't present any convincing arguments, just vague liberal talking points.
