I think the episode you are talking about is Licking River muskie fishing or maybe Station Camp Creek?
The above info is great! There is a book called "A canoeing and kayaking guide to KY" check it out. Good luck

If your talking about the Ky Afield where they were fishing in two homemade flat bottom wooden boats, that was Green River in Hart County. You can put in under the Green River Bridge at Thelma Stoval Park. Greens a great smallmouth, rockbass, muskie river but its not overly accessible.
Thanks guys. We are going to hit Laurel river tuesday. Fished it many of times love it. I think he is going to get that book you mentioned. I got a boat and all but its just fun to get out were not many other people venture. Good fishing to all

What about fish Salt river from taylorsville lake dam west to the fort knox res.
Being in London, the Rockcastle River is really good.
Also a good trip is the Cumberland River. Put in at Williamsburg and take out at the falls. Plan on camping for the night. Or shorten it just a little bit and put in at Redbird bridge. But still plan on camping. Oh yeah, watch out for The Pitch.
Station Camp Creek in Estill Co is one I've always wanted to try thats not too far away either.
The Blue River in Indiana
Dix river is one of my favorites. The scenery alone on the trip up it is worth the effort. Fishing is great too.
