I finally made it down to fish 2 nights in a row for the first time this summer. Fishing was pretty good but did not land anything bigger than about 3 lbs catching 20 - 25 each night mostly largemouth with only few over 15". I continue to be amazed at how many 12" -14" LM there are in KY this year. Most of the fish came on 1/2 or 3/8 oz short-arm drop style dark-colored spinnerbaits. I also toyed around with different trailers vs no trailers and I think I did better with a Paca trailer. I didn't try pork this weekend but I tried 3 different plastic trailers and it seemed the chunks worked best. I miss not tagging a good smallie yet this night season and it is winding down. Maybe I can sneak out a night next weekend and break that drought...
