stealing road signs

I live just out of town on a 2-lane road with 30 mph speed limit. When we first moved here there was an alcoholic woman who lived across the road and hated speeders. She would run out and stop the cars and you could hear her 'cussin' the drivers for a country mile. She did more to control the traffic than a cop could have done. She died 4 years ago and nobody has taken over her "job."

I have a couple of "handicaps" that disqualifies me. (1) I absolutely cannot cuss (2) I don't drink anything stronger than coffee. I do have one thing going for me though. When I get mad, my husband says, "Could you please turn the volume down to a loud roar?"

I have the same problem, the people who live on my road drive slow, but the "cutthroughs" and such do not pay any attention to anything and we cant keep the signs up, we called the sheriff's office several and they said that they cant do anything, to help, anyway I almost got sent to jail for tring to stop a speeder who was going back and forth burning rubber and such, he got out of his car and approached me and I, had ole trusty rem 870, had been turkey hunting, and I politley instructed him to get back in his car and mr rem870 lead him there, but the cops tried to arrest me for "theroristic threating", mind you is was in my own yard and this person was advancing toward my home and family, uninvited and in a threating manner, so I quickly desecalated the situation. Anyway at least one hot rodder has been stopped, but ZX come on down, and bring your radar gun, I can bake you a pie, or let you shhot one of my deer.

Just bend the bolts down on the back of the sign and they wont be able to remove the sign from the post.

it would be nice to bend the bolts down but would not stop them from stealing the sign cause thet are takin post and all

I live on a two lane, in the egde of town and it's 35 mph. You can hear the vehicles coming up the heal with a foot in the throttle and crossing past my house at 50 or better, and nothing is ever done. Never a cop setting or patrolling this road. Bad thing is, I can stand in my driveway and see two police cars, and a deputy sherriff cruiser. These are my neighbors.

ZX any kind of pie you want, choc, butterscotch, banna cream, mud, pecan, just stop these idots. There are a couple who fly down my road between 3.30 and 4.00 every morning, just waiting to hear them wipe out. They go by so fast that they wake me up. Our road is bareley wide enough for one car, and we have farm equip that travel it all the time. Maybe when someone either gets killed or kills somebody else, hope it does not happen, then they might do something. I have lost 8 pets from these dsirespectiful morans who cannot respect others. I feel all of your pain Cobra and ironhead.
