I havnt fished it much this year but i do ok on the bass when i go. Decent size and numbers. Its a really good panfish lake. My stepdad loves the bluegill and redear and he'll go their and usually get quite a few 8-9in. gills and an occasional big redear. It's worth going to, I know a guy who caught a real whopper bass out of there last year.
thanks for the info... im hoping to bring a cooler full home .... been a good while since i have kept any fish. i normally cpr them. but im hankerin for some fish.
I've been thinking about driving down there and trying this lake out, are there some big ole hawg redears in there? I've heard it's a good lake but it would need to be pretty **** good for me to drive from the Jeffersonville area.
Not anything better than you'll find at the 4 lakes in Hoosier. Would not be worth the drive for you.
i caught 3 bass and no gills and no red ears and fished hard for 3 days. i tried everything ... all the bass came on flukes. couldnt buy a gill bite ... not even a bobber twitcher. wont be back for a long time.
